Hello, Tan here! It's December, so it's time for this again! I haven't had a chance to make mine in 2013 but this year I did it!!! > o<)9
So it's not really improvement chart at all, just me finding style I'm really comfortable to draw with, I don't improve at all (haha) and I guess I'm really that happy I can fill every month with drawings! Several of them are just doodles though laughs and there is a month where I just drawing doujinshi everyday I almost got fed up with it (it's also the month where I almost can't feel my hand thanks for drawing too much and been down with a really serious disease) but now looking at the pictures I did all these months I'm proud at least I have drawn these pictures!
So yup basically:
January-February = doodle pictures of both blue girls from touhou project (seiga and cirno!) I drew cirno using photoshop though, using photoshop is fun times but I can't stand the lag
March = meduka rabuuu hahaha i really like the picture's composition actually but I'm not even sure many people get the idea of the crossover (get it?! going back through time to save someone you dearly love even though fate seems to hate you) the first time i got really frustrated over drawing hair~
April = commission work! I did several of them as well but I'm not really sure I'm allowed to even post but yeah!
May = kagepro feels all over again, I really do love shinaya because their story is tragic who doesn't love tragic story amirite (haha it's just you o>->) I really can feel Shintarou's regret of not being able to save someone you love even though it's not explicitly stated, but at that time I was really sure he loved her bcus who will even be going through depression to that extent if it's not
June = doodle again lmao yup this month mostly just doodles because of uni finals so I picked the most decent looking doodle. I played a touhou project fangame titled Concealed the Conclusion and yup it's so good I cried at the final stage, the feels just are so strong, I really loved the fifth stage and the last stage (i loved the fifth stage the most, it's really the ESSENCE of the whole game, with the bgm and the stage title)
July = DOUJIN WORK! I did finally draw and make a TOUHOU DOUJINSHI it still feels surreal for me, I never did finish any imaginary manga I ever made so this just made me understand that drawing a manga is not easy at all, but I ever did it and I'm proud I have gone through this experience, I definitely will be looking forward to be able to draw doujinshi again! (have to be more time efficient when drawing though T o T)
August = AFAID! mostly drawing posters and merch for the con LOL but this picture is the postcard bonus for the said doujin done in july
September = the drawing is just experiment of drawing loose bg but I got DD for it (I still don't understand lol), thank you very much!
October = commission work again! Uuu i'm really nervous of drawing bgs actually so it's more like commission + bg practice for me haha doing the lighting is very fun I really love the process of making the lighting T v T I hope I can do personal work of drawing class again I love the idea!
November = mostly suffering from drawing for Internship, but this picture is one of the most fun I did in the latest months! A drawing for pokemon ORAS countdown! I love those cosplay pikachus, those are very fun to draw!
December = bday gift for a friend T v T I hadn't drawn proper touhou in a while (it's been like 2 months since I drew proper touhou) and I was like, why not, since I was two months late already
Sorry for the long ass description but that summarized 2014 journey to me! I met many amazing people and joined a lot of amazing stuff as well, so it's a good year T v T
So, 2013 feels more like a breakthrough for me, and 2014 feels more like a steady year, but definitely I drew more in 2014, I hope I can have many more experiences in 2015 as well
I hope 2015 is more amazing for me and for you guys! Thank you for sticking along with me this year as well!
